The hometown and family background of Rinku Singh

On October 12, 1997, a boy named Rinku—destined for cricket fame—was born in the idyllic village of Talanagri in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

It was difficult for him at first to live in a two-room house with seven family members. For him, growing up in a difficult situation was difficult. It was difficult for him to juggle his career and school. He was very interested in playing cricket from an early age. But his family thought he should concentrate on his work and education in order to have a brighter future.

His family put pressure on him to get a job. After his older brother recommended that he apply for a job at a coaching institute, he was given the sweeper post. But he didn't feel passionate about this work. He thought cricket may improve his family's financial circumstances more than sweeping. He told his mother about his goals and that he wanted to play cricket. His mother was persuaded, and she recognized and encouraged his dreams.
